Personal care brand LUX was launched by the Lever Brothers (today known as Unilever) in 1899. The brand initially retailed laundry soap but now has a product line that includes soaps, shower gels, bathing additives and shampoo and conditioner.
LUX is a market leader in several countries including India, Pakistan, Brazil, Thailand and South Africa.
